Trees, Squash and Uncles

Well here we are again playing catch up on new milestones.  Speaking of milestones, the little man passed the six month mark just after Thanksgiving.

Ben enjoying his first Christmas tree.  Actually he's trying to grab the ornaments and pull the tree over.  He's come close, but hasn't succeeded yet...

Here we are hunting for Ben's first tree.  Alright we went to Hunter's in Wedgewood, but we had to go over three hills from our house to get there.

That's my boy!

Uncle Greg and Uncle Matt accompanying Ben on his second visit to Tat's Deli. Uncle Greg came up for the weekend and Ben kept him busy.

Ben's first snow. And this was just the beginning - we ended up with nearly 6 inches.

After six months Ben made the move to "solid" foods, i.e. mush that's not milk.  Here he is enjoying his first few bites of rice cereal.

It didn't take long though to start chowing down on the rice cereal and squash.

 Mmmmm.
For Thanksgiving the whole family drove to Boise to visit good friends.

FYI driving (or riding in Ben's case) to Boise can be exhausting.  I'm not sure why Ben's so tired - he slept almost 10 of the 12 hr drive.

Ben brought his little friend Edgar with.

Thanks Grammy for the single use shirt.

  1. Thanks for the updaate!!! Can't wait to see you all. He is so darn cute, and I would say that even if he weren't my grandson.

  2. Wow, his looks have changed so much since the last posting--he's growing up--do you already just want to slow it down?
